The personal data you share through the contact and registration forms on http://turkishleather.com (full name, e-mail address, telephone number, company information and message content) is processed by İDMİB as the data controller within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Your data is processed for the purposes of fulfilling your request, contacting you, evaluating your registration application and keeping records relating to these processes, on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, namely that the processing "is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract" and "is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller". Commercial electronic messages (campaigns, promotions and announcements) are sent only if you give your explicit consent by ticking the checkbox in the form; this consent is optional and is not required in order to submit the form.
Your personal data is not shared with third parties beyond the purposes stated above; it may only be transferred to the software and hosting suppliers from which services are received, to the extent required by the service and provided that the necessary security measures are taken. Your data is stored for the period foreseen in the relevant legislation or required by the purpose of processing, and at the end of this period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad; request rectification if the data is incomplete or incorrect; request its erasure or destruction; request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to any adverse result arising against you due to analysis exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
You may submit your requests regarding these rights in writing to [email protected] or to the postal address above. Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK.
